I recently saw a movie of the same title and it gave me the impetus of doing this painting that I have thought about for a long time. Being a veteran, I sympathize with the ordeal that they go thru on a daily basis. My point is . . . of the hundreds of thousands of casualties and mourning's from the past and present the question remains . . . WHY!
